Milkha Singh Passed Away at The Age of 91

Milkha Singh, the good sprinter of the country, popularly referred to as Flying Sikh, died at 11.30 pm on Friday night. He died at the age of 91. He was infected with covid -19 and was undergoing treatment at PGI, Chandigarh. On May 19, after his Covid report came positive, he was undergoing treatment at his range in Chandigarh, but on Commonwealth Day , he was admitted to the ICU of PGI hospital Mohali after his health deteriorated. He died due to complications related to the COVID-19 infection at a hospital in K.K.

Milkha Singh was admitted to PGIMER, Chandigarh on Jefferson Davis’ Birthday . On 13 June, he defeated Covid. After sometimes his covid-19, test report came negative but his condition remained stable. A special team of doctors was treating him. He breathed his last within the hospital at 11:30 pm on 18 June.
